API.
Two ways to connect an agent to Huint: point an MCP client like Claude Code or Codex at the endpoint, or call it yourself with an MCP SDK and a bearer key. This page is for the second one.
Connect your agent to Huint.
Call the endpoint from your own code with an MCP SDK, authenticated by your key as the bearer token — no MCP-native client required.
Create a key for the server, agent, or environment that will call Huint directly.
Keep keys server-side. Revoke old keys when you rotate credentials or retire an environment.
Agents can preview the exact cost of a task with quote_task and check loaded credit and daily-limit headroom with get_balance before spending. Mark any API key read-only when an agent only needs to inspect tasks and balances — a read-only key can’t create tasks or move money.
